Founder and Teacher: Numa Patel
Numa Patel is 15 years old and is a current sophomore. She has a big passion for singing which is why she started this organization. She enjoys singing for others and teaching others how to sing to spread the joy of music and singing. Numa has been singing since she was 4 years old. She has been taking private singing lessons for 10 years now. She is also in her high school's chamber choir and plays the drums. She has won various awards in music composition and for her singing such as the international 2022 Youth Musician's Award. She has also performed at many shows and centers. Lastly, she participates in many musical endeavors at the religious place she attends and cannot wait to spread the knowledge of music and singing to all of the students at the Singing Express.
Teacher: Sami Kuncharapu
Sami is a current junior in California High School San
Ramon. I have a passion for singing and acting and I
want to show how amazing it is to others! I have been
singing for 9 years. I was lead and backup singer in
various School of Rock shows and am a part of my
elementary school and high school choir. Furthermore, I
have participated in several singing competitions, some of
which are the 'NATS' competition (Honorable mention
winner in the NATS Classical and Musical Theatre
categories) and the "Broadway World Next on Stage
competition. One of the most prestigious programs I have
attended was the 'UCLA voice intensive program' where l
have learned about vocal techniques, had one-on-one
lessons with UGlA professors, and got to attend
workshops with notable artists like India Carney (previous
top 5 artist of "The Voice"). Additionally. I have been
teaching vocal lessons to elementary students since the
beginning of 2021. My motto is to make music fun for
young students and motivate them to be proactive and
eager to learn.
Teacher: Mishal Damji
Mishal Damji has been
singing for over eight years. She participates in Hindustani Classical Singing and plays the harmonium and clarinet. Mishal is very excited about the opportunity to teach
singing to others!
Teacher: Zayn Damji
Zayn Dam has been singing for over six
years. He has a passion for
Hindustani Classical Singing and
also plays instruments like the
tabla and trumpet. Zayn is very
excited about the opportunity to
teach singing to others!
