About the Singing Express 

The Singing Express is an organization filled with dedicated and talented high school students who are teaching the next generation how to sing for free! It is for children ages 4 and older and was founded by singer Numa Patel and the teachers teaching alongside her were hand-picked. It was created because the teachers wanted to spread the happiness they get while singing to younger children eager to learn. 



Classes are once a week for 30 minutes with the teacher that is assigned to the enrolled student if they choose the regular class. There are also enhanced and premium class options available. Guardians of the students will receive an email following their lesson with a summary of what was accomplished during class for the month and what the child should try and practice!




No, your child does not need to have any experience in order to receive lessons. Our accepting tutors will work with their students and will create a welcoming environment for them.




Yes, our organizations' tutors can teach the students songs in the following languages: Urdu, Hindi, and English. Students at times can choose which song they would like to learn if it goes along with their teachers' curriculum. There will also be showcases during the year where the students can show their parents and loved ones what they have learned, in various languages if they choose to do so, or even in one language. They will work one-on-one with their teachers for the progression of their own singing journey.
